Order Process

  1. Placing an Order:
    To place an order, simply visit our website or contact us directly via phone or email. You may choose from our standard cakes or request a custom design. Once your order is confirmed, we will provide an estimated delivery or pickup date and total cost.

  2. Order Confirmation:
    After submitting your order, you will receive an email or phone confirmation detailing the specifics of your order, including the design, flavor, and delivery/pickup details. Please review this information carefully. If any details are incorrect, notify us immediately so that we can make the necessary adjustments.

  3. Payment:
    Full payment is required at the time of order confirmation for all cakes. Payment can be made through the available methods on our website or via invoice. We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other payment methods as stated during the checkout process. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.

Pricing

  1. Cake Pricing:
    Our prices vary depending on the complexity of the design, the size of the cake, and the ingredients used. Prices for custom cakes are provided during the consultation process and will be confirmed before the order is processed.

  2. Additional Charges:
    Additional charges may apply for custom designs, delivery, or last-minute changes to an existing order. We will inform you of any additional charges prior to processing your order.

  3. Discounts and Promotions:
    From time to time, Newtopics may offer special promotions, discounts, or sales on cakes and other products. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise. Discount codes should be applied at checkout to receive the applicable discount.

Custom Orders

  1. Design Consultation:
    For custom orders, we encourage customers to provide specific details such as themes, colors, and preferred cake flavors. Our team will collaborate with you to ensure the final design aligns with your vision.

  2. Changes to Custom Orders:
    Changes to custom orders must be communicated to us at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time. Any changes made after this deadline may incur additional charges.

  3. Custom Cake Deposit:
    For large custom orders, a deposit may be required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be communicated upon order confirmation. The remaining balance is due before the scheduled delivery or pickup date.

Order Cancellations

  1. Standard Orders:
    Orders can be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time for a full refund.

  2. Custom Orders:
    Custom orders can be canceled up to 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup date for a full refund. After this time, a partial refund may be issued, depending on the preparation stage of the order.

Delivery and Pickup

  1. Delivery:
    Newtopics offers delivery services within the local area and beyond. Delivery charges will vary depending on the location. You will be informed of the delivery fee at the time of order confirmation.

  2. Pickup:
    Customers who prefer to pick up their orders can arrange a pickup time at our location. We request that you arrive at the designated time to avoid any delays.

Customer Responsibility

  1. Accuracy of Information:
    It is your responsibility to provide accurate information when placing an order, including delivery/pickup details, cake design specifications, and any dietary preferences or restrictions. Newtopics will not be held responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.

  2. Inspection upon Receipt:
    Once you receive your order, please inspect the cake immediately. If there are any issues (e.g., damage, incorrect design), contact us within 24 hours with photographic evidence so that we can address the issue promptly.
