Refund and Returns Policy

At Newtopics, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with the cake or service provided, we have outlined our refund and return policy below to ensure a fair and transparent process. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Cakes and Products

Due to the perishable nature of our products, Newtopics generally does not accept returns or offer refunds on cakes once they have been delivered or picked up. However, we want to ensure that every customer has a positive experience with us, and we will review each situation on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds

We offer refunds only in the following circumstances:

  1. Incorrect Order: If the cake delivered does not match the order specifications, we will offer a refund or a replacement cake at no additional charge.

  2. Damaged Goods: If your cake is damaged upon delivery or pickup, we will assess the situation. If the damage is caused by our error or mishandling, we will offer a refund or replacement. Please contact us immediately with photographic evidence of the damage for proper review.

  3. Quality Issues: If there is an issue with the quality of the cake (e.g., a noticeable defect in taste or structure), please inform us within 24 hours of receiving the product. We will review the complaint and offer a refund or replacement if the claim is valid.

Non-Refundable Situations

The following circumstances are not eligible for a refund:

  • Change of Mind: Due to the custom nature of our cakes, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds if you change your mind after your order has been placed and processed.

  • Customer Errors: If the customer provides incorrect information regarding the order (e.g., wrong design specifications, wrong address, or incorrect event details), we are not responsible for errors that arise and cannot issue refunds.

Order Cancellations

  • Standard Orders: You may cancel your order up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time for a full refund.
  • Custom Orders: Custom orders can be canceled up to 72 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time for a full refund. After that, we may retain a portion of the payment to cover production costs.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for cakes, as they are custom-made to your order. However, if there is a problem with the product that falls under our refund policy, we will offer a replacement cake at no extra cost.
